self-expansion Qs three

questions to explore in your journal.

perhaps choose one or two to focus on each journaling day.

preferably in the morning, just as you rise with the sun and allow your stream of consciousness to flow...

or after a meditative imagining.

Before you answer: put your pen down. Place your hands over your heart. Close your eyes. And listen for the answer... the non-judgemental and loving answer within. You may hear her in your mind. In your heart. In your stomach. Maybe through words. Maybe through feeling. Maybe both.

  1. What has been your main challenge that seems to linger at the forefront of your mind these days?

  2. Why are you allowing this challenge to be significant in your life?

  3. What are you learning from this challenge?

  4. How may this challenge benefit you or empower you to help you grow as a person -- even if it doesn't seem to appear that way at this time?

  5. What have you been thriving in these days?

  6. What is one habit you would like to keep in your life?

  7. What is one habit you would like to let go of in your life?

  8. Is this habit holding you back in anyway? And if so, how?

  9. Reframe that story: create a new story of what you will do from now on to replace that habit. What is a new story you can tell yourself that having had this habit for a period of time helped you rise from here on out?

  10. What do people love most about you?

  11. If you’re in a romantic relationship, what does your partner love most about you? If you’re not romantically involved with anyone, what qualities do you love most about yourself that will uplift your future romantic partner? (if you're interested in one, of course)

  12. What is your favorite feature on your human suit?

  13. What is your favorite feature of your soul?

  14. Listen to your language of feeling inside you right now, and honor whatever is going on without any judgment. Observe this then write down what you’re experiencing.

  15. Who challenges you to rise and expand in the brightest way?

  16. What qualities does this person have that you see (or foresee) in yourself?

  17. What would your ideal love note, dedicated to you, say?

  18. In 1-2 sentences, what do you deserve to hear about yourself every single day? (In the most uplifting way).
